I find it somewhat #fascinating that the daily high temperature near the equator of #Mars is currently many degrees higher than it is right now in some parts of the United States.

I also find it fascinating that I can type "what is the current #weather on Mars?" into my handheld computer and be given a serious answer. This world of the future isn't perfect and we still don't have #JetPacks, but damn if it doesn't have its moments of #awesomeness.

My friend gifted me the game WAKING MARS. She described it as "a gentle grow weird stuff on Mars simulator." When I heard "gentle" thought it was code for "sandboxy" (which is my code for "boring"), but to my pleasant surprise, it's got a fun little plot (like something you'd get from a casual game), a supersmooth jetpack (haven't had this much fun with a jetpack since GIANTS: CITIZEN KABUTO) and some well-done character portrait art with great poses!
