Other forms this trope take are things like the Khazar Hypothesis, which has summarily dismissed, as well as calls for Israeli Jews to "Go back to Poland".

This harmful trope has many forms, but can be the most easily understood and dismissed through education.

On this #HolocaustMemorialDay since most countries do not have a holiday memorializing the >850,000 Sephardi and Mizrahi Jews who were stripped of their citizenship, land and homes and made into refugees at the threat of violence or death.

I am using my platform as an Ashkenazi Jew to bring attention on this tragedy on a day that at least some gentiles are paying attention.

I'm a 3G and one would think that I'd be focused on Holocaust Remembrance Day.

And of course the tragedy that killed so much of my family, and most of European Jewry is important.

But reading "People Love Dead Jews" opened my eyes. Like the author, I'm tired of Holocaust Education being treated as Antisemitism training. Antisemitism did not begin nor end with the Holocaust, and it's time to push for more.
