One of my latest efforts 😏 I got the idea from a friend Gabe who made a map of Russian Empire #klezmer stuff from the An-Sky expedition, so playing around with Felt (a new mapping site someone on here suggested) I came up with this map of the birthplaces of American klezmer recording artists of the golden age and what place names they used in their recordings.

Interesting fact: Yulee is named after David Levy Yulee (1810-1886). Yulee was the first Jew to be elected US Senator. He supported slavery and Florida’s secession from the Union. He was imprisoned for treason against the United States during the Civil War.
