@johndoepe @faab64 @adar one of the great tragedies of the Soviet Union was its eventual exclusion of Jewish socialist voices.

I can't help but think that this was a major factor behind so much of the Jewish world moving away from socialism in the second half of the 20th century, at the very moment in history when we really needed socialism.

I also will mention that my views on #Israel and #Palestine do not fit easily into a hashtag, except to say that I support peace and justice for all peoples of the land and reject all forms of extreme nationalism.
