We believe that Jewish communities should be accepting of Jews whether we're Ashkenazi, Sephardi, Maghrebi or Mizrachi; whether born Jewish or converted; married or unmarried; straight or gay; more or less observant; rationalist or mystic.
When it comes to history we consider Marc Shapiro’s “Changing the Immutable: How Orthodox Judaism Rewrites Its History.” No one is criticized for citing scholarship that doesn’t match strict traditional or ArtScroll beliefs.
Did you know - on several occasions rabbis in Orthodox, Conservative and Reform Judaism worked to heal rifts in our community. If more people know about these enterprises it could inspire our own generation to help restore #Jewishunity

Where do we see Non-Orthodox and Orthodox #rabbis and lay Jewish leaders working together? Where do we see people creating #Achdut (#JewishUnity) today? We're looking for examples and inspirations!
Here we see Jews from #CLAL, from all denominations, at the Katz Center for Jewish Studies at the Univ. of Pennsylvania
