Last night we tried the latest boardgame find, Ghost Stories. Apparently it's very hard to win, and considering, we did alright with one one player out by the end. The monsters overran the village sadly. Challenging, but fun. I love co-operative games where you play against the game.

Shall I talk abut visually impactful #ttrpg design? The kind of games you can bring to the table and passers-by will turn their heads and ask "What are *they* playing?" I think these are important for one reason: engagement

There are three games I own which are very visually striking: #RestInPieces #Fiasco (2nd Ed) and #JiangShi. All of them have artifacts which colourfully spread out over the table and look more like boardgames to the casual observer.

A grave robber woke her up one day, confused and hungry, Shishi went on a killing spree, consuming the energy of the nearby village. She now lives in that village waiting for any living creature to pass by for a free meal. Shishi is later taught to control her hunger and only eat bad people and monsters.

Be careful when roaming around the ruins of that temple. Many ghouls and ghosts haunt those grounds. It says when travelers are enveloped by the fog, they are never to be seen again. Some were fortunate to survive. Others may have come across the JyiangXyi.
