Jinxie Danger's smol kidney saga:

Vet called late tonight about bloodwork at her checkup yesterday

Kidneys are performing so well, he wants to stop weekly sub-q treatment altogether (short of obvious signs) and check back in a month.

Issue with red blood cells isn't normal, but expects it to clear.

Still small troubles, but maintaining weight and FINALLY actively hungry!

Our two oldest cats came into our lives a month apart, sevenish years ago

They've never been particularly close.

But as the younger two came into our home
dynamics shifting
these two started to keep a weirdly special peace
(infrequently) stealing away for Secret Meetings.

Tonight, we found them hidden away together in a quiet room, snuggling in an office chair.

I'm so glad they have each other.

If you'd asked me a decade ago what I wanted our life to be

I'd have sputtered about a bunch of ideas and dreams and novelties and creative ambition

But I would've had no idea what it actually contained

or that we were actually about to build it.

Cleaned off my (@Devierue) desk last night to start getting back towards my organization goals and building a stronger company
