Now that the new series is already out, a rundown of my final #review of #DeliciousPartyPreCure:

Overall I’d say it’s a solid season but not one that impressed me. Both the characters and the story were fine, but nothing that stood out to me compared to other seasons. The fights were mostly boring.

Finishing #Review:
#DoItYourself was somewhat educational and easy to digest. I couldn’t really get used to some of the more quirky characters (Jobuko’s forced use of English for the simplest words and Shii’s whole way to speak) but overall it was a nice hobby anime and the characters really grew on me.

Finishing #Review: #ImTheVillainessSoImTamingTheFinalBoss suffers from low production values and some rushed parts, but I really loved the main characters. Aileen was a captivating protagonist who managed to be villainess enough to not make the title absurd, her relationship with Claude just worked for me. It helped that she had a proper antagonist as well. I really want to check out the source material…

Finishing #Review: #RavenOfTheInnerPalace had a good balance of episodic ghost stories in a setting that is not very common in #anime. It also did a great job in developing its characters and their stories. Some reuse of animation was noticeable but the quality consistent and I liked the stylistic choice of using animated ink drawings for stories told by the characters.

The only sad thing is that it’s an unfinished story so I hope for a second season.

Finishing #review: The #anime adaptation of #SPYxFAMILY could not have been any better without altering the source material. The slow progress is overall frustrating and I don’t like how some side characters lack depth, but it has some really heartwarming (fake) family moments that make it worth watching anyway.

Finishing #review: The first #anime from this season that I finish was the first cour of #chainsawMan.

It was a great adaptation of the source #manga, I have no regrets about it. The characters are so unconventional I just love them, and the mix of funny and incredibly dark imagery just works for me. And it looked consistently great 🤩
