Last night #JLF2023 ended in spectacular fashion.
It's been the most mad, marvellous experience; a joyful, literary Glastonbury.
So many new friends met - brilliant writers & thinkers all - and I hopefully brought something fresh to @JaipurLitFest with #Kindred's deep prehistory!

Many interesting @JLFLitfest talks on day 5 yesterday, perhaps my fav was @Sathnam & Emily Benn (great discussion & fantastic audience Qs). Also saw #JLF2023's very own Owl Babies!
Then the most enchanting evening of music & dance at the Amber Fort!

It was great 4th day at @JaipurLitFest #JLF2023 yesterday with many talks, conversations and another fabulous evening party at the Rajmahal Palace.

(have been wondering if 'the season' at Bath during Regency times felt a bit like this...)

Well the opening 'dinner' at #JLF2023 @JaipurLitFest last night was really spectacular! Gorgeous literary scenographies in the Palace gardens, banging tunes, the most immense, opulent buffet I have ever seen and many wonderful people to meet! https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1615938977776947200

So after 24 hours travelling, inc frantic dashing to make plane due to train delays, and a 6 HOUR DRIVE from Delhi, I am finally here for #JLF2023 in Jaipur!
So magical to be back in India 💖

Finally on the plane after epic train delays, but the journey was sweetened by sitting next to @BronwenRiley, who it turned out was not only a writer herself but knows #Kindred and has assigned it in a creative writing course 😍
