#MotoGP Favoritism. A Tale in 3 Acts.
The Hows: First lap into the third race of the season, #JM89 sends it in too hot on cold tires, taking #AM73 out so hard (and so far) that he needs assistance getting off the track.
The Aftermath: #JM89, who said #MM93’s apology “meant nothing”, gives a half-assed apology to #AM73, basically saying it’s not his fault, Race Direction agrees (despite #AM73 needing x-rays on his knee) and receives no sanctions.

Act II: #MM93 vs #MO88 (w/a brief appearance by #JM89)
Further: #JM89 tosses his toys from the pram to the media but misses no time. #MO88 misses one race out of an abundance of caution, given the back-to-back. #MM93 has missed two races and counting.

Act II: #MM93 vs #MO88 (w/a brief appearance by #JM89)
The Hows: First lap into the first race of the season, #MM93 locks up the front, clipping #JM89 who continues on. While #MM93 highsides, his bike takes out #MO88.
The Aftermath: #MM93 tearfully and profusely apologizes, Race Direction decides he was being overly agressive and gives him 2 LL to be served at the next race.
Just watched #JM89's half-assed public apology to #AM73. No "I took him out" but "I crashed and he was there". No, you were being entirely too aggressive on cold tires on the first fucking lap of a race. The very same shit you crucified #MM93 for, that he got penalized for.
The #MM93 haters will be all "intent, intent!" ... any way you sake it, either was too aggressive for that point in the race, and it ended races early. Same punishment for all, or none at all.

@motomatters I do like the trajectory of his season so far; he's had good pace throughout and seems to be smiley happy Alex again.
also ironic: that it was #JM89 who took him out, the same one who said "it wasn't enough to ask for forgiveness" when Marc apologized to him for their contact. And this is coming from a long time #JM89 fan club member (who won't be renewing!).
@dsmdexter I was pretty disgusted by the first lap. #JM89, who bitched so loudly about getting clipped by Marc, wipes out Alex, who appears to be injured. I'm sure there'll not only be no penalties/sanctions (it was just a racing incident! he didn't MEAN to take him out!) but he won't apologize, either.
Sad things was, I was a card-carrying member of the #JM89 fan club until that bitchfest after Portimao.
