[1982] BBC Play of the Month - "The Critic", a satire by Richard Brinsley Sheridan. It was first staged at Drury Lane Theatre in 1779. Sheridan considered the first act to be his finest piece of writing. Starring John Gielgud, Hywel Bennett, Nigel Hawthorne, Rosemary Leach and Christopher Biggins.
