As you can see, I thought that deserved a toot.
(NOT because of John Gruber, but because I have lived long enough to hear about markdown markup.) 🥥🥥

So tired of a bunch of performative executives who aspire to act out leadership before captive audiences saying that in-person work is essential to success.

While I'm disappointed there isn't better support for #Markdown or some subset on #Mastodon, I think it's ok to just use Markdown anyway, at least where it adds to legibility. When he minted Markdown, #JohnGruber was inspired by how people were writing these things in plaintext email, after all!
