Especially ironic to hear far-right #CommonSense Group leader #JohnHayes claiming to want to "preserve history, warts and all" while the "#wokerati" supposedly want to "erase" it when what he really means is preserving an airbrushed version of it where the "warts" of the #BritishEmpire's crimes are erased.

The actual main plot is about an orphan, Grace, who grows up in a travelling faith healer type, obsessed with finding her father, and she does (sort of) - then things go downhill.

The actual movie parts is quite good, you do get confused what is real and not, seeing things from her perspective and then from an observer, watching her.

What kinda ruined it for me was a voiceover which 'told' instead of letting the movie 'show'.

It gets a bit 1970s psychoanalysis/profiling at the end, a bit Freud-y.

My favourite bit was when she attacked the car with an axe.
