It is quite sad, and disappointing on #JohnMacArthur's part, as I've loved listening to his sermons over the years, but not all too surprising, as his church also demanded that a woman keep living with her husband who was abusing her children, and punished her for leaving with her children to safety, even after he was found guilty and arrested (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uK-slfhsgC4).

I am a #Christian, not a #Catholic, so I'm not too familiar with sexual abuse in the #Catholic church.

It’s interesting that this mess is totally different from the tone-deaf #HeGetsUS campaign, yet their video about not cutting off family over #politics was gaslighting, because a lot of us have had to cut off evangelical family over Trump because they are so far from love and will abuse you then demand you forgive them. Those ideas are rooted in the false teachings #johnmacarthur has propagated, where positional authority trumps truth in love.
