I know I’m about 37 years behind, but I’m just now reading John Piper’s “Desiring God.” I’m now looking for a good response. Can anyone recommend a thoughtful counterpoint or rebuttal?

Back to the baptistry window by Piper and Reyntiens. Abstract, but engrossing. I could spend a long time looking into that bright centre. And when the sun hits it suddenly in the morning, you can almost hear the Hallelujah Chorus - the effect is explosive beauty.
