Good one to upgrade immediately, to remove excessive failed Tor connection attempts to directory nodes, though there are quite a few other minor bugfixes as listed in the notes.

Code rot is a thing, but somehow sending payjoins from Joinmarket to BTCpay still seems to be working (please try it out and tell me if I'm wrong!), despite neither me nor anyone else updating the code for 1-2 yrs.

(If you didn't know, you can send and receive payjoins on joinmarket, the latter using an ephem. onion service)

(My suspicion that there might be problems is mostly about PSBT format updates, which we've ignored, but also the fee handling in BIP78 is tricky).

Some recent stats on Joinmarket from block scanning:

From block 759000 to 759616, representing about 4.28 days, I see 213 JM coinjoin transactions, for a rate of very close to 50 per day.
The false positive rate is non-zero; my guess from sampling is it's actually ~40 per day.

It is also notable that we're starting to see 13-17 party joins, here is one example:

Turns out that *more* than one of the contributors to Joinmarket has had their github account banned/blocked, but it seems not directly related to current news - it seems it happened specifically to people that only logged in via Tor.

I'm not sure of details, obviously, just reporting what I've heard.

Gitlab migration may be incoming.
