@murchadhfinn Will FG/FF amend their Anglo-centric views? There are a few timid signs, but they need to be bolder. I think FF/FG loathing of Sinn Fein colours what they are prepared to do, and it will be to their detriment at the next GE. Also, it is important we do what we can to support #SNP and an Independent Scotland. Direct Rule is dead in the water, as the #GFA moves to #JointAuthority. Current #DUP intransigence is as close to DR they will get. @irelandpolitics

@jacqui76 @wsw777 It’s blatantly clear the #Tories want out of #NI Their problem is Dublin is nowhere near ready to take over. #DUP unwittingly helping them by not being in #Stormont. I think DUP plan to stay out to the GE: big mistake for Unionism: we will get #JointAuthority and a move to more all-Ireland integration. I’m all for it: let the DUP be the ones to bring a #UI closer #irony @irelandpolitics @ukpolitics

#Labour isn't that much better to the #Tories in my opinion.

But my opinion on it isn't worth much - I have lost all interest in GB politics. I only care about what they will do in relation to securing the -

•#GoodFridayAgreement

•reforming the institutions to stop any party form bringing it down

•preparing the way for #JointAuthority & calling of a #Border Poll

They do but the Irish Government has said they will not accept this. Plus if there is SF Irish Government next year that certainly won't happen.

The #DUP need Stormont more than anyone else. The rest of us couldn't care if the place never comes back.

It is time to call the #DUP bluff. Let's see what they will do if CHH announces #Jointauthority Authority with a role for Dublin.

So what does the #NI SoS intend to do #DUP refusing to do their jobs then? Will he remove the rest of their wages? Will he reform Stormont to prevent this from happening again.

If he doesn't, is he prepared to introduce #Jointauthority with a role for the #IrishGovernment? It is time to sort this out for good

they could stop the rest of #MLA'S wages, introduce legislation to #reformStormont and we will see the #DUP back to work in a heartbeat. If they don't want to do that shut it permanently, turn it into a hotel or something useful, introduce #JointAuthority and prepare for a discussion on our constitutional future. Remove the #DUP'S leverage over #NI. If they want to protest, let them do it outside while the rest work.
