with small joints that I roll myself.

I normally roll my own joints with a cigarette rolling machine (and paper filter tips), but these #joints come out too big for the container, but also really I would prefer a half g joint.

Is my best bet to make them full-size and the cut off the ends or is there a different technique I should use? (FYI, I never mastered the art of rolling a joint without a rolling machine)
