My guess is that CIA operatives were behind the Ribbentrop-Molotov secret plan of nazi-soviet partition of Eastern Europe, an act devised so as to excacerbate nationalism of non existant countries such as nazi-occupied Poland against the Soviet government.

When I claimed this at University during a history exam, the examining commission commented: "oh that's really interesting", but for some reason I did not pass the exam.
