Remembering (1924-2012), the Canadian stage, film and television actor, born in Ontario . RADA-trained, his Broadway career included portraying Harry Roat in Wait Until Dark, and he starred in Oliver Stone's debut Seizure (1974), but best known as the 175 year old Barnabas Collins in 594 episodes of ABC's (1967-71), The Generation Gap (1969) and feature film spinoff House of Dark Shadows (1970).
