after the latest update to version 2.12.15 of @joplinapp I get an "Invalid property format" error (without any further specification) on all my installations. having changed nothing to the way the data files are stored, where could this come from? 🤔 #joplin #joplinapp

I'm looking for a Joplin replacement. Liked the app but kept corrupting my files on sync and I'm tired of resetting. Would prefer something that will sync to self hosted server. Any recommendations?

Was looking for #joplinapp plugins for backlinks and a #knowledgegraph plugin to add some functionality. Both exist for the desktop client.

Unfortunately plugins don't work on the mobile client, which lacks quite a bit of #usability. No inline creation of tags, no easy way to link notes, no daily notes (while this can be easily worked around)

Researched different note taking apps after playing with #Joplin for some time but not really using it.

Tried the online version of #Logseq but didn't really like it. Feels more like a wiki.

Finally gave #Obsidian a try, even if I try to use free and open source software only. I like the app much more than the #joplinapp , it's more intuitive to me.

What do you use as an extended brain for #notetaking?

Preparo bien la primera escena de la sesión en función de lo que haya ocurrido hasta el momento. Importante establecer el tono y hacer una cierta recapitulación.

Para el resto llevo unas ideas generales y las pistas necesarias (dirijo sobre todo investigación) "flotantes" para ir encajando donde sea conveniente (algo similar a un sandbox).

Para la organización uso notas en texto plano usando #Joplinapp ( @joplinapp ) Una libreta por partida y luego muchas notas cortitas rápidas de leer.

I've been experimenting with Joplin, as an alternative for Google Keep. There's a bit of a learning curve, but I'm getting the hang of it. Looks promising!

@rubbs @nhan @scottkillen @taseroth @dantheclamman In addition to the daily journal entry, my favorite #LogSeq feature is namespacing. It's my main PKM for this reason even though I share files with #JoplinApp and #ObsidianMD #PKM . It's certainly worth checking out.

@LowlyAdjunct I'd like to chime in a suggest another possible option @joplinapp https://joplinapp.org/ that may be useful for either intermediary or backup to #ObsidianMD . I absolutely love #ObsidianMD but #JoplinApp was designed to facilitate the export of notes from #Evernote . Here's an article: https://facedragons.com/foss/migrate-evernote-to-obsidian/ . I've also found https://chat.openai.com/ (free version) to be great in helping give steps & commands to fill in the blanks for these types of tasks. You won't regret it.

@elvoss Ich hab jetzt mit beiden mal rumgespielt: @zettlr bleibt und übernimmt meine ungeordneten txt-Notes - das wollte ich eh mal angehen. Für längere Markdown-Artikel vermisse ich die geteilte Ansicht (Markdown-Quelltext und die gerenderte Seite). Das gefällt mir an #joplinapp besser. Ich probier' mal aus, ob ich diese NoteApp zweckentfremden kann für längere Markdown-Artikel. Vielen Dank Dir nochmal für die Tipps!!!

@jasonmcfadden I keep trying to switch to#Obsidian, but since I got started with #JoplinApp syncing to my #Nextcloud instance it seems like too much work for minimal added benefit. I definitely share that sentiment of fear about cloud and proprietary tech being victim of rapid changes that make them unusable.

Started off by deleting notes from #evernote that I don't want and doing light research on how to migrate. Found a few suggestions of exporting to #Notion first or exporting to #joplinapp first. Anyone have any experience with either?

Really like #joplinapp as a note taking application. However, I'm a bit frustrated by the fact that the #Linux version is a bit laggy, and whenever I have it opened, VSCode seems to find a way to crash itself. Are there any alternative clients? I really like the plugins and so on, it's just the official Linux client that's a bit clunky
