Time for another visit to Derby Museum to one of my favourite galleries.
Two "candlelight"paintings by one of the country’s most renowned artists, Joseph Wright of Derby, have gone on public display for just the fifth time in more than 250 years.
They've been loaned by a private collection, which raises a whole lot of other questions...

I love a bit of Joseph Wright on a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of interest at Nottingham Contemporary’s ‘Hollow Earth’ exhibition today, but ‘Grotto in the Gulf of Salerno’ was my personal favourite.
