Well stap me vitals. Today I learned - I mean #TIL - that there WAS actually an Ulrich Von Liechtenstein. That he was actually a dude hung up on #jousting, who wandered around Europe competing in tourneys for honour and chivalry and all that courtly jazz. Much of his story is likely made up, as it's mostly drawn from his own autobiography, which frankly sounds *wild*.
If the name doesn't mean anything to you, I highly recommend watching #AKnightsTale - a fantastic #movie starring #HeathLedger.
