29 Dec: John Oulton (J.O.) Wisdom was born in Dublin #OTD 1908.

A rationalist and material atheist, with marked interest in psychoanalysis, cybernetics, and the modern crisis of the West. He is generally called J. O. Wisdom to distinguish him from his cousin John Wisdom, also a philosopher.

He is particularly known for his work on George Berkeley.
