I lent a young neighbour one of my favourite books from my childhood - slightly nervous in case my guess at her tastes was wrong.

She loved it, and was desperate to read any sequels I had. I was so pleased I choked up a bit as I handed them over.

On my way out of office today, I felt like getting some books, and I did. Holding them, walking out the #library, I felt a sense of fulfilment. Perhaps they will tell me something, teach me something, or disappoint me, or help me sleep, I don’t know, I’ll find out 😌
