In #JPAM - a field experiment during early COVID found MBAs from online, for-profit, and regional universities had an equivalent response rate to BAs. Black male names received 30 percent lower response rate.

Excited to share that the #FieldExperiment from my #dissertation is out now in #JPAM! For the study, I submitted 9,480 job applications to examine how employers respond to #MBAs from the types of universities that most students attend.

It is my first and favorite conference because it (and #JPAM) are distinctive places that feature high-quality social-science research that can also center public-policy relevance as a motivation—without apology.
