100%... like I'd said elsewhere, but I'll expound on here. JS8Call is a really nice compromise of the video-game-ish I-like-to-click-on-stuff thing and the I-want-to-converse thing.

I'd love to see JS8 get a ton more popular. I'd also love to see #js8spotter get >50% adoption by all JS8 users. The ability to transmit a pretty decent "about me" in a string of a dozen or so characters is incredibly efficient.

Well, getting js8spotter going will be a more in depth project over the weekend. The Python code needs some fiddling to run on a Mac, and with #js8call there and #js8spotter running on my Pi4 can’t quite get things to work and my brain is mush.

Watching more YouTubes about #js8spotter and I think I might be able to set up a form that makes it easy & efficient to play #BattleShip over HF.
