If the anti-abortion politicians (and other people) were also against capitol punishment and for funding orphanages, pre-natal care, Head Start and a lot of other life-affirming policies I'd be able to take them seriously. I want to say in-coherency is irritating, but there is a hidden(? or just unspoken?) coherency under the policies...
