Re-watching the Paramount musical comedy “Artists and Models” (1937) and I’m suddenly realizing that Judy Canova must have been a huge influence on Carol Burnett’s style of comedy. I’m sure I’m late to finding this out, because I haven’t seen that much of Carol Burnett in recent years, but it was unmistakable.
