A 1991 gay AIDS drama from the moms' perspective: Julie Andrews plays a millionaire whose son's partner has AIDS. Ann-Margret plays the partner's homophobic mom from rural Arkansas, who has refused to see her son since he came out. The mothers are the focus of this clip.

Hugh Grant and Željko Ivanek played the young male couple, one of whom is living the final weeks of his life.

The general reaction at the time was that such stories needed telling in the early 1990s, but that certain aspects of OUR SONS didn't quite "click."
