April 15, 1929, Anscel Eckmann completed the first non-stop flight between Seattle and Juneau in this Lockheed Vega. Flight took 9 hours 35 minutes.

When Elizabeth & Roy Peratrovich moved to Juneau in 1941, local schools weren't integrated. She convinced district to accept her children, leading to full integration of Juneau schools by 1947. Below circa 1940s Juneau.

Dec 20, 1914 [Juneau] Alaska Daily Empire. Juneau city council ordinance banned non-medicinal sale of cocaine, morphine, & opium. Also banned "indulging in the opium habit" outside one's home. $100 fine is about $3000 now.
