Used to see him in #Toronto during the mid 70’s. It was “All Blues” all the time for me, back then.The hang was on Queen St. He even taught me a few bluesy chords, and runs, which I still remember. Perfect gentlemen.

I was 13 when I was introduced to the blues (and other things) by my 18-year-old boyfriend. I never looked back. To me, it will always be the most sensuous music. Ledbelly was the first, but Buddy Guy is someone I've seen at least a dozen times since, in huge venues like Red Rocks, his own club and a tiny freakin' bar in NE Wisconsin.
