Went out #juniper hunting in one of the pastures close by. They were all over the place. Saw a few that looked almost scaped, but most were really cool and gnarly looking ones.😀 #juniperus #treesofmastodon

So... for some reason I've started developing an interest in Junipers. I think it started when I read Edward Abbey's "Desert Solitaire". Not sure what it is but most of the times I see one, I stop and look at it, I touch it, I crush some of the needles between my fingers and smell them. I like the smell of it. Also, I like the look of them, especially when they get a bit of a tree shape going. I bought one the other day. I'll see if I can make a small tree of it. #juniper #juniperus #plants
