Okay, pulled it out of my #junkBox. Probably best for parts, but I love the typography on it.
And yes, quite a few interesting stories about Apollo (next post)
After Apollo ended he went back to school to become a civil engineer as there were too many EEs in the LA area at the time. He worked for the same govt agency office that I do. Good stories from that part about working hurricane relief missions, including riding out a typhoon in the Philippines in a hotel bathtub.
This is going to be the toy streetlight. The parts are salvaged from a broken keychain flashlight, and include charging circuit and a tiny lithium battery (the thing under my finger in the photo). I will post when that is done.
The wood is again scraps from the #junkbox.

Another toy mostly from #junkbox parts, scrap wood, and some new parts.
The servo is at least 30 years old but still works fine; the controller is some Arduino nano clone. I changed this to use a 3.7V lithium battery instead of a 9V battery. Now it can be recharged :)

It's getting a "box" for the arduino, some wire management, and a 3.7V lithium battery. #diyelectronics #toys #junkbox
