@Natris1979 yeah, I work a 9 - 5. I work CA hours, more or less, so my mornings are free, and I get up pretty early, so I get a lot done in the mornings before work.

I've gotten sick every time I've gone there in person.

I don't actually *run* most of these things.

My wife runs the coffee shop. @CaptainUnderpants and @jess and @connor_dylan run the makerspace.

@Looterjennings does a lot of New Ellijay Television, although I'm still pretty hands on there nights/weekends.

@TaxDan helps with #JupitersGhost although I'm still pretty hands on there.

@DoctorDeathray does most of the hard work for #analogrevolution. I'm mostly just there for moral support.

But I started a lot of these things, and I organize the support around them, and I talk a lot.

I had forgotten a lot about this thing, but this is the bit that hurts the most.

Sorry kid, try 2023.

After listening to the first episode (or possibly watching the first cartoon) of #JupitersGhost, my dad reached out to me to see if he could participate.

Now, I don't know why my father doesn't just make an account and join in. He can use a computer, after all.

But he asked for us to help him write a character for the next episode, so I'll work on that.

@tbite @muscles when I click #jupitersghost I get a 404 and a message that it might be due to permissions (I'm not on the Ok list). Is it intended to be a private club?

(No hard feelings if it is. I suggest putting up some info on what it's about and the rules of inclusion to ward off such thoughts though.)

A few weeks ago, I recorded some thoughts about why @jandrews joined the Space Corps.

It's a short little aside that is intended to build the universe, but doesn't fit in any specific episode.

I got rabbitholed into reading the website https://intergalactic.computer/ and think I may have discovered an inconsistency: "Lore and Canon" says it's 1,000 years into the future, but "Naming Conventions" (under "Aliens") says it's only 100 years from now.

I think 100 years is more relatable, but 1000 years probably gives more freedom for things inconceivable with known technology (eg. FTL travel).

I think I'm going to enjoy this series.

It's a little rough around the edges still, but I think it's a good proof of concept of what this show might be like as a cartoon, and it gives us a chance to find out if that resonates with the people who listen to our podcast.

Episode two will be out any day now (we're working on the transcript right now, and I need to record the closing credits and tweak some levels) and we've started work on Episode 3.

We have some great illustrations coming in from multiple people, we have a cartoon in the works.

And I'm just kind of Buzzing with excitement over what other kinds of adventures we can get up to with this #creativeCommons #scifi universe.

I just received the last pending contribution for episode two of #JupitersGhost, so I'll be editing that out this weekend!

I'm pumped, this has been a lot of fun, and we have some really great contributions going in to episode two.

Hi! I’ve been on here for about a month now, and I still haven't given a proper #introduction yet.

I am Jess (they/them) I make tv, build toys, and a bunch of different things at #ellijaymakerpace. I am @tbite in #jupitersghost. I have two partners in a wide and ever-expanding polycule. My biggest bully is a 5lb yoikipoo named Lemon. I like to do things, and some of those things include theatre, cooking, and many many other things that I will expand on in this thread.

We have lots of Other stuff happening right now, too. We're releasing new albums through #analogrevolution, there's a new Magazine out soon, we're booking shows, we're planning live Television and pre-recorded television. We're building toys for a toy show in Asheville in Feb, a toy show in Ellijay in late Feb, and a toy show in Atlanta in March.

We're producing several concurrent TV shows, and working on a cartoon We've got comic books going.

And, hopefully, we'll be roasting coffee within the next three weeks.

So, you know, there's a lot of stuff happening and I'll be promoting the hell out of all of it.
