Can somebody familiar with #JupyterLab or #JupyterNotebook please tell me why the top cell in this notebook doesn't render the HTML, when the other two cells do? Everything I'm reading online suggests it should render it. https://gist.github.com/mattcen/c5db6e729dfe9e949596ffb87207cb1b
In the "Rich representation" section of this notebook (https://jupyterlite.github.io/demo/lab?path=.%2Fpython.ipynb) it does something similar and Just Works (obviously that's #Pyodide rather than CPython, but I don't think that should matter).
I am guessing maybe there's a library I haven't installed; for this example I just created a new virtual environment and installed `jupyterlab` and nothing else.

About three days ago, I found out that #bash can be used in #JupyterNotebook s, then I learned the next 'version' or evolution is #jupyterlab. Anyways, jupyter lab is not highlighting syntax, and the output from terminal is not aligned, both things are working in jupyter notebooks.

Given the amount of stuff that's constantly broken in #AUTOMATIC1111's GUI and the various plugins that make it actually useful, I think it's time for me to figure out how to use #StableDiffusion directly, probably via #JupyterLab. Nearly all of the plugins just wrap other existing libraries anyway, so it's not like I'd really need to reimplement them if I'm not trying to make them work with #Gradio.

All the examples are practically one-liners, so I don't imagine it'll be at all hard.

#Jupyter notebook v7 and #JupyterLab v4 has reached beta and looks refreshing. Notebook is now based on JupyterLab. It features useful things like debugger, real time collaboration, theming and accessibility improvements.

Looks like there's a bit of a hack to get SQL syntax highlighting at least, but the jupyter-lsp setup looks like too much work. Apparently LSP support is will be built-in to #JupyterLab 4.0 though, so hopefully this will get easier
