At a town meeting the other day. A guys says to me, "I wish the town would just say the same."
He had a problem with a transgendered person using the bathroom of their gender.
Then he proceeded to talk shit about me I'm Russian to his wife.
And I wonder if the stay the same part goes for when people didn't like immigrants or if he was just referring to genders.
Also does he realize there have been trans youth in this town longer than his family?

I hate to whinge, but following up 2 weeks of a heavy cold with a second, different heavy cold after a few days of feeling healthy is really not very cool and fun of my body.

On the plus side I don't think my abs have had as good a workout in years as this cough has given them!!

My short story's problem: the setup is too complicated. I totally see that.

My problem with fixing it is I have two versions - both with different too-complicated setups.

I figured out a better way into the story, but working from these two different versions is driving me a little crazy. Craving cookies, as though they would help. Character is an addict, and I am empathizing completely, though for me it's just chocolate chips.
