@_ohcoco_ #JustMyToots is a tool that lets me see what I have posted without any boosts.
Sometimes I want to find a recent post that I made, but since I boost a lot of things it can be hard to find, have to scroll through a lot of posts.
Any user can opt-in to this tool. Just put a link in your bio (substitute your own user name). That option at the end of the link restricts this tool to public toots only.
I've attached a screenshot from the about page of justmytoots.com

@KarenStrickholm @adminkirsty @tstooth Hi, folks! š
I don't remember a thread I posted about treatments (my memory is crap!) but I can try to find it.
Do you happen to remember any keywords? One trick I use to scan my recent posts is the #JustMyToots link since it's just things I posted, no boosts
Link is in my profile but I'll also post it here:

With the ridiculous amounts of boosting I do, I should really enable #JustMyToots for my profile, at least until #Mastodon sets up a switch to do something similar automatically.
FWIW, I think the current approach to showing people's profiles and post list may no be the best one. I've seen other platforms (cohost maybe?) doing it with toggles, and I think it's a superior choice: instead of a separate ātabā you have a single list, but the option to hide/show replies, media posts, boosts etc.
@kkarhan Agreed! Searching through my own older posts is when I miss search the most.
Here are two things that have helped a little:
1) I put a link for #JustMyToots in my profile. This shows only what I posted, not what I've boosted. Works well when I'm looking for a fairly recent post.
2) Use a search engine and include my user name and "site:disabled.social" - that works okay.
enabled justmytoots and now having fun boosting a few that imo needed more attention #SelfBoostingIsSelfCare #JustMyToots

#JustMyToots hosting is down atm. I canāt even reach the backend, so thereās not much more I can do than wait it out. Hopefully itāll be back up soon.
@cookie_mumbles Hi, #JustMyToots seems to be down - showing "Not Found" on a white screen when trying to view my tootline...

This screenshot is from Safari on iOS. Tapping on the buttons appears to have no effect on the URL and the X close button doesnāt seem to do anything either.
Iām not usually this stumped, but I do love this tool and would very much like to get my #JustMyToots page working again! Does anyone know what Iām doing wrong?
#JustMyToots #Update
Today I've merged 2 new features:
1. Removing DMs from listing toots
If you've ever logged in and than took a look at your own JustMyToots page, you might have been shocked to notice DMs where listed there as well. This was because DMs are just toots with limited visibility, and by logging in you are able to see your own DMs. This is of course weird and doesn't have a use-case, so out they go.
2. Force Options support
If you go to your own page, toggle one or more of the options, then copy the url from the address bar and place that in your profile somewhere, the options in the url are then "forced" for your page. This means that anyone visiting your page can no longer change the setting that you configured. It then looks like this for example
So my server provider changed something which broke my entire setup for #JustMyToots.
But it's fixed now so the service is back up again.
Thanks to all who reported the error!
Reading through the #JustMyToots hashtag, I saw some posts about migration, and this led me to wonder... if anyone is working on (or has released) a tool to allow you to migrate your POSTS to another server, not just follows and followers? Migrating reactions may be tricky/not ok from a consent perspective, but original posts should be possible to move.
We went through this back in the LiveJournal days, when DreamJournal and other services made this possible, so people didn't lose all their post history. When this is possible with Fedi it will make moving instances less like leaving a whole social network.
Data portability tools need to be made for ALL socials btw
We aren't really truly respected as Digital Citizens in the social space until we are able to own ALL our data and MOVE it.
Imagine a world where we can take ALL our tweets, all our Facebook posts, all our MySpace posts, all our G+ posts and yes, all our LiveJournal posts, let's face it, many of us here have at least half a decade of those (that we all downloaded and archived, of course, which has been possible) and deposit them into Fedi, so people (or just ourselves) can search through them (if we want!)
But we should be enabling this at the VERY least for instance migration!

@kudra I donāt know much more about this tool or others like it; I discovered it via the #justmytoots hashtag so maybe thatās the path for you to get better answers
