Seems like every time I see a gold-crowned #kinglet, it's just smacked into a window, but never hard enough to do more than stun it. There was a window at my old house they'd hit occasionally, but I found this guy at sunrise on the sidewalk in Port Angeles, Washington next to a big window. Given that he was also about ten feet from a stray cat, I scooped him up and let him recuperate on the handlebar of my #K75 before I caught the ferry. Spring 2007.
