I gave her arms... since I was going through a couple of different emotions from #Kachina && #kokeshi こけし

i should have documented both my mindset, music, and so on but sometimes its best not to. Sometimes it really does not matter to the viewer what it is an artist might be going through. Whether its good or not.

When I was young and visiting my grandparents in New Mexico, I spotted a hummingbird trapped in the rafters of a barn. Somehow I managed to climb up into the rafters, catch the poor thing and climb back down with out breaking my neck.
I released it near some flowering bushes and it took off in a flash of green and purple.

Years later, inspiration dragged me out of bed at 3 in the morning to start working on this painting.
