Anyway, kidding aside, we're not out of the woods yet and it's not remission (a term the oncologist doesn't like to use)... but I'm where I should be, 9 months out. I have a surgical exam in 2 weeks, another PET scan in 3 months, and the odds are in my favor. I'll take that.

The doctors and staff at Kaiser have been amazing: knowledgeable, compassionate, and skilled beyond belief. And my husband, well what can I say? I love him.

I'll never know exactly when or why it started taking over that part of my #endocrine system but it's nice to know that I can ask for the right #medication when #kaiserpermanente #doctors don't know what to do or want to "see if it will get bigger". No thanks. I'd prefer a 13.6x reduction to the middle of reference range for this hormone.

Now, maybe they'll stop asking stupid questions when I ask for "uncommon labs". 🤦🏼‍♀️🤯

#KaiserPermanente is a fantastic health provider, but their interstate communication SUCKS ASS. I've been sitting in this pharmacy for hours, waiting for them to figure out how to transfer a prescription from CA to Washington.

All the doc needed to do was call it in, but I guess that's fckin impossible for some reason, and getting a phone number? Nope. Getting a message? Sure, we'll be back on Monday.

Now I finally got someone to call it in.... Pharmacy closes for lunch.
