Second round of sewing my #KalleShirt and I managed to do the exact thing I did on my first KALLE popover shirt - accidentally folded the one side too many times, sewed it, and had to unpick the seam. I should probably cut new pieces and redo the front, but I'm trying to decide if I can do some white on white embroidery to cover up the pulled threads.
Progress on #kalleshirt toile - just the front and back with yoke and popover placket. Doesn't have bottom hem facings, sleeve cuffs, or collar.
Looks good aside from the pulling along the yoke/shoulder - I need to look at that and check if it's something I can adjust better. #sewing
with it being Summer, i am looking at my shirts and wanting to sew another light woven top that goes well with my many floaty summer skirts
i was thinking about doing a #kalleshirt in a non flannel for once, but i wanted something with actually set sleeves, and then i saw this post about a hacked carolyn pj top in my pinterest sewing ideas board -- https://blog.closetcorepatterns.com/hacking-a-notched-collar-shirt-from-our-carolyn-pjs/
and tbh, this sounds PERFECT. i'm going to have to do another muslin tho, i think. #sewing #memade
