During peak COVID, Kapiolani Park was my dose of fresh air in an otherwise insulated world, where I'd think on, and write about, the then current state of things. Today, the park is still my personal getaway. The "post" COVID world has settled into some sort of new normal, and crazy as it remains and has become, it's somehow kept at arm's length here.
