Good grief...
San Benito school district (you may recognize the name from the recent disclosure of the #ransomware incident involving #Karakurt) sold thousands of district computers and devices at an online auction in July.
An auction company bought about 700 computers and it wasn't long before they discovered school district data -- employee data and student data -- on at least 11 of the hard drives.
So they contacted the district who tried to buy the computers back. The district doesn't want to pay what the buyer is asking and the buyer also refuses to sign a nondisclosure agreement.
Other than that, everything's just hunkydory....
