Workers at Amazon Japan are planning to protest in Tokyo on Nov. 25 in opposition to appalling working conditions.

The extreme hours workers endure leave many exhausted and depressed. One worker told the media that “I am being forced to do excessive work and keep driving. If I keep on like this, I might cause an accident or collapse. These packages might kill me.”

When it comes to #Karoshi , restaurant or izakaya( for dining and drinking) chain comes up first in my mind. All time they lack of workforce and the manager needs to cover up for that. The company hires university students or house wife as part-time. There are few full-time workers, and many people leaving a job very soon. Then the company needs to put like a fresh graduate as a chief manager. Downward spirals coming up, then the overwork kills them.
