Badass story on tribes being badasses, stocking up on billions of seeds and planting Native trees to start restoring the landscape before Klamath dam removal even begins.

Women, femmes, and nonbinary people are usually in the minority on prescribed burn lines. So the #Karuk Tribe designed an event to put them in the majority. 🤷 ♀ ⚧️ 🌈 🔥

This past fall, Indigenous women traveled from as far as Ontario and Australia to burn and learn at the first-ever Karuk Women’s TREX. Now participants are taking that knowledge home to spread amongst #Indigenous women around the world.
