Sedition case: No lawyer for J&K students, Allahabad HC shifts case to another town

Nearly 15 months after three Kashmiri students of an engineering college in Agra were arrested for allegedly celebrating the Pakistan cricket team’s victory over India in a T20 World Cup cricket match, their case file has reached Saharanpur on the orders of the Allahabad high court as lawyers in Agra have refused to fight for them.

I accompanied the first team. We visited all the jails in Jammu and came out with a list of detainees. The list helped people trace their relatives, and I had the opportunity to understand the problems faced by #Kashmiris in the freedom movement. These experiences cannot be explained here; a whole, fat book is needed for it. However, a few encounters that shook me do merit a mention.
