I've had a real great writing experience with the #Kaweco #Perkeo. It's such a good writer and such a fun design.

I decided to get some more. The blue is the one I already had. The black I call my #licorice pen. and the clear is my first #demonstrator.

Each of them came with four blue cartridges and an empty, gonna use those for my liliput.

I think my daily driver fountain pens are going to get segregated on the basis of whether I can stash a spare international short cartridge in the barrel. Obviously running out of ink mid meeting is bad. Also, having an open cartridge pop off the feed due to jostling in transit is messy. The spare cartridge braces the open one against the feed. Kaweco Student, Midori, and TWSBI Swipe all have the right size and shaped barrels. #FountainPen #Kaweco #TWSBI #Midori

Finally plucked out a #Lamy Vista Demonstrator #fountainpen to fill up and take notes, as my new #Kaweco Steel Sport is in the next room. I'd bought this thing in a grumpy mood when I realised I'd misplaced my old AL-Sport during lockdown.

I had forgotten how horribly SCRATCHY that standard M nib is. I may have just worn the one I started with smooth, and abused the tines apart to make it write wetter at some point, but holy cats that's not a great experience.

I want to compare against a #Pilot Metropolitan at some point, but they simply aren't for sale in Europe.

I somehow misplaced my #kaweco AL Sport during lockdown. It can't have gone far, but it was the one "bulletproof, always with me" pen I relied on. So I finally just went all-in and bought a Steel Sport to replace it.

I have to say, the weight of it (around 45g when full, with the piston converter) really helps control my twitchy handwriting. I do much better than I do with the cheap plastic sports I had fallen back on.

Replaced the nib on my main powerhouse #Kaweco Sport #FountainPen. I've drawn probably 150 pages worth of original art with it over the past 7 years, and the lines were starting to look a bit tired and syrupy. Looking forward to #Aquapunk inking being a little less frustrating 😌

@Inge Late to the party, but I am increasingly in love with my Kaweco Student clear barrel. It's heavier than I normally use, but it's so smooth and well balanced that it doesn't feel heavy. It just feels substantial without feeling bulky. You can fit two international short cartridges in the barrel, so you always have a spare.#Kaweco #FountainPen

Okay, this small #kaweco is really cool. Small cartridge only, but it will fit in ant pocket.
Refill with ink syringe is very easy. Quite confortable for a steel nib.

More adventures with fountain pens. I am increasingly in love with the Kaweco Student pen and the Kaweco midnight blue ink I splurged on. It's heavy, but it's so smooth and balanced I don't notice the weight. It just glides across Kokuyo paper (807BT) and has been fine with my Carolina Pad.
