My yesterday experience trying to setup a #kbin instance:
- #hetzner blocks port 25 by default and you have to apply to get this limit removed (at least there is a chance though) which makes setting up email for user verification, etc. very complicated.
- mercury is not required, which is not obvious from their docs
- the settings from the `.env` file are partly written to the database and it is not obvious which command updates them

so yeah, very frustrating

There is a popular hashtag for MastoAdmins. Start building a history under #KbinAdmin.

I spent a lot of time on this yesterday, and it really sounds like #Kbin will be the more popular choice.
