Aldi are marketing these toys as the "King and Queen of Veg" which does suggest a Miévillean City-and-the-City style set up of overlapping kingdoms occupying the same space.

These societies do however interact to the extent that the carrot family has tickets on a human plane, albeit one with no accomodations for vegetable proportions.
